Committees and Advisory Groups

Capital Athletics is strengthened by the knowledge, experience and commitment of people from across the ACT and surrounding region. Our committees and advisory groups bring together volunteers, club representatives and subject-matter experts who share a common purpose: supporting a well-governed, inclusive and thriving athletics community.

Established under the Capital Athletics Constitution, these groups support the Board and staff by providing specialist advice, community perspectives and practical experience. They help ensure our decisions reflect the needs and experiences of athletes, coaches, officials, clubs and members across the broader region.

While responsibility for the governance and management of Capital Athletics remains with the Board and its delegated officers, our committees and advisory groups provide an important connection with the communities we serve. Their contribution helps turn strategy into action and strengthens the programs, competitions and services that support athletics across the ACT and surrounding region.
