Records
Capital Athletics records are now available through our new records website.
The site brings together junior, senior, championship, relay and multi-event records in one searchable place. Para records will also be added in a future update. The previous PDF record lists will remain available below for archive purposes while we complete the transition.
If you believe you have equalled or broken a Capital Athletics record, congratulations. Record applications are now submitted through the records website using the online application form. Please include any supporting information that helps verify your performance.
When and how to apply?
Results from Capital Athletics Championship events, including underage, U20-open and combined event championships, are reviewed for potential Residential and All Comers records. Athletes are still encouraged to submit a record application if they believe they have set a record, so the performance is not missed.
For performances achieved outside Capital Athletics Championship events, including Summer Series, Interclub and other non-championship meets, please submit a record application within 28 days of the performance.
What counts?
ACT Best records can be broken anywhere in the world by a registered member of a Capital Athletics club.
All Comers records can be set by any athlete competing at a recognised event held within the ACT, regardless of where they are from.
If additional information is required to validate a performance, it must be provided within the timeframe requested.
