This is the nomination page for all athletes who wish to be considered for selection into the ACT Team who will compete at the 2025 Australian Cross Country Championships in Ballarat, VIC from Sat 23 Aug 2024 to the Sun 24 Aug 2025.

Nominates close 11.59pm, Sunday 6th July 2025 - no nominationss will be accepted after this date.

Please read the below selction criteria along with techincal regulations prior to submitting a nomination.  Noting that athletes must have attended the Capital Athletics Cross Country Championships held at Stromlo on 28th June 2025 in order to nominate for the the 2025 Australian Cross Country Championships (or provided an extenuating circumstances form & supporting documentation to CA prior to 6th July)

 

Day 1 (23rd August) of this event is individual race day, Day 2 (24th August) are the team relay events.

Relay Teams

Relay teams will consist of teams of 2 men and 2 women each running a loop of the course.  The running order will be male, female, male, female.  Athletes who indicate that they are interested in competing in a relay will be chosen and announced following the team selection meeting, once it is known which athletes are accepting their position on the team.

Teams will be selected based on the fastest male and female from each of  the following age groups:

·       Under 12 (10 & 11)

·       Under 14 (12 & 13)

·       Under 16 (14 & 15)

·       Under 18 (16 & 17)

·       Under 20 (18 & 19)

·       Opens (20+)

·       Master (30+)

Athletes can only run in one relay team however they can run in a different age group (up not down) The minimum age for the opens race is 16yrs of age and maximum age is under 50.
