2026 Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC)
Dates: Sunday 12th - Tuesday 14th April
Venue: Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre, Nathan, QLD
Event Structure:
Sunday 12th April – Travel, Track Familiarisation & Team Welcome approx. 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Monday 13th April – 8.30am Opening Ceremony & Competition 9.30am - 5.10pm
Tuesday 14th April – Competition 9.00am, Closing Ceremony 4.45pm - 5.20pm, Travel Home
Nominations open Thursday 12th February 2026 for the 2026 Australian Little Athletics Championships. Athletes are to nominate for their top 4 prefered events they are interested in competing in at the championships in QLD and provide a link to these results.
Athletes must compete at the 2025/2026 CA Underage U9 - U18 Championships to be considered for this event. If unable to attend due to injury/illness, compulsory school event or competing at higher level competition an Extenuating Circumstances form must be completed by 11.55pm Sunday 22nd February 2026 along with nominating via this portal.

Please note this is typically a team travel event however as ALAC is being conducted in conjunction with the Australian Athletics Junior Championships, travel arrangements have been structured to accomodate athletes participating in one or both events. At time of nomination please indicate your chosen travel options as per outlined in the selection criteria.
