Be part of something special as the 59th Race Walk Australia LBG Walking Carnival comes to life in Canberra.
This Race Walking Development Series sets the tone for an exciting weekend of competition, providing a hands on opportunity to learn, connect, and immerse yourself in the sport ahead of the feature race events on Sunday 7 June.
Delivered by the Victorian Race Walking Club (VRWC), these sessions showcase everything race walking has to offer from coaching and officiating through to athlete development, and are open to anyone looking to get more involved.

Racewalking: A Practical Coaching Course for Coaches
Designed for accredited coaches looking to confidently coach race walking, this session covers technique, common faults, and program planning. Ideal for coaches wanting to expand capability and progress along the coaching pathway.

Race Walking Judging Seminar
An introductory session for new or developing officials, focused on understanding the rules and expectations of race walking judging. A great entry point for those looking to get involved in officiating.

Coaching Masterclass (Athlete Clinics)
Two practical clinics catering to developing and experienced athletes, with a focus on technique, efficiency, and performance progression. Suitable for athletes wanting to improve skills ahead of competition.
