We're excited to invite you to a free SAR course in the Australian Capital Territory – a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in supporting safe, well-run athletics activities across the ACT. Specific to Track and Out-of Stadia for this course. Whether you're a coach, parent, athlete, volunteer, teacher, or simply passionate about youth sport in Canberra and the region, this is your chance to gain recognised skills and contribute to the success of events and programs.

We’re also proud to launch Able Officiating alongside this course — an inclusive initiative encouraging people with disability to become qualified athletics officials in a supportive and welcoming environment. Officiating is a flexible role that values knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for the sport. It can provide purpose, confidence, connection, and meaningful involvement in athletics.
