Membership Changes Coming for the 2026/27 Season

Capital Athletics is introducing a new membership cycle from the 2026/27 season, with memberships now running 13 July to 12 July each year.

These changes have been carefully planned to better align with Australian Athletics and our membership platform, RevolutioniseSport, making memberships simpler to manage for members, clubs and administrators alike.

Why are we making this change?

The new membership period will:

• Simplify annual membership administration.
• Improve the registration and renewal process.
• Better align with Australian Athletics.
• Reduce seasonal overlap.
• Create a more streamlined experience for members and clubs.
• Introduce greater flexibility through new membership options, including the new All Access Competition Membership.

What does this mean for members?

Memberships for the 2026/27 season will open on Monday 13 July 2026 and will be valid until 12 July 2027, regardless of when they are purchased. Members are encouraged to renew early to maximise the benefits available throughout the season.

As part of the transition to the new membership year, there will be a one-off adjustment resulting in a slightly shorter membership period for some members. To thank members for their ongoing support during this transition, renewing members will receive complimentary entry to the High Noon Series, with online registration required prior to each event.

New Membership Options

The 2026/27 season also introduces a new All Access Competition Membership, allowing athletes to pay one membership fee that covers all eligible Capital Athletics competitions, championships and series events throughout the season, providing excellent value for athletes who compete regularly.
