Australian All Schools Championships
The Australian All Schools Championships is an annual national track and field competition for secondary school athletes in the Under 14 to Under 18 age groups. The Championships bring together talented young athletes from across Australia, providing an opportunity to compete at a national level, gain valuable championship experience and test themselves against the best school-aged athletes from each state and territory.

- Dates: 4–6 December 2026
- Venue: WA Athletics Stadium, Perth
- Age groups: Under 14 through Under 18, with Para U20 also included.
Important to note; Events not contested at the ACT Track and Field Championships (refer to selection criteria), athletes can obtain a performance for these events at High Noon #3 & High Noon #4 or within the performance period also outlined in the selection criteria.
Athletes are selected to represent the ACT through the Capital Athletics selection process, with selection based primarily on performances at the ACT 13 & Over Track & Field Championships and, for events not contested at those Championships, verified performances during the applicable selection period are accepted.
The ACT All Schools Team is not a team travel event. Athletes and their families are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, flights and accommodation in Perth.
Capital Athletics will provide team-related information and support to selected athletes, including team management and physiotherapy as outlined in the team levy.

*Events not contested at the ACT Championships will be available at High Noon Event 3 and 4 for athletes to participate in as per the selection criteria. It is not compulsory to compete at the High Noon series if your event is contested at the ACT Schools Track and Field Championship.

Students both able and para that attend an ACT Secondary School can nominate for the team.
You do not need to be a Capital Athletics member to compete at the Australian All Schools Championships.
A. Events contested at the ACT Championships
- The ACT Championships are the primary selection pathway.
- 1st and 2nd place in each age group, gender and event qualify, subject to eligibility and nomination requirements.
- Athletes must still nominate and complete the acceptance process by the required deadline.
B. Events not contested at the ACT Championships
ForPole Vault, Hammer, Steeplechase, Race Walks, Hurdles and 3000m, selection is based on verified performances:
- Performances must be achieved at a Capital Athletics, Athletics Australia or Member Association sanctioned competition.
- Results must be officially recorded or verifiable by Capital Athletics.
- Performances must have been achieved between 1 January and 22 September 2026.
- Athletes must provide a URL to their performance when nominating.

Please click the link below to submit your team nomination, you will need to have any qualfiying metrics ready to enter (time/distance/height).
Flight and accommodation bookings are the responsibility of the athlete, please ensure bookings are finalised after team announcement has been made.
Once nominations have been received, the Capital Athletics Selection Committee will select the team.
Athletes will be contacted to advise they have been selected for the team. All athletes are required to confirm their acceptance, nominating alone is not a guarentee.
Entry Fee: $55.00 per event
Team Levy: $180.00
Acceptances close Wednesday 14th October at 9am (no late entries will be accepted).
Flight and accommodation bookings are the responsibility of the athlete, please ensure bookings are finalised after team announcement has been made.
Please note that the 3000m events will be contested in Melbourne on 11 December 2026 at the Zatopek Meet as was the case in 2024.
If an athlete is unable to compete at the ACT Track and Field Championships 2026, and they meet the criteria set out in the Australian Athletics All Schools Championship Selection Criteria, they are permitted to submit an extenuating circumstances form. Please note that this does not guarantee selection.
All extenuating circumstance requests and supporting documentation must be emailed to admin@capitalathletics.au no later than Monday 28th September 2026 at 9am
