Event Overview
The Capital Athletics Combined Events Series provides athletes with the opportunity to test themselves across multiple disciplines in a true all-round athletics challenge. While the series highlights combined events competition, athletes also have the chance to enter individual disciplines, making it an inclusive event for specialists as well as multi-eventers.
Entry Information
- Entry: No on the day entries
- Entries Close: Thursday 18th December 9:00pm
- Entry Fee: Entry fees are $20 for online entry
- Eligibility: Athletes must be registered with Capital Athletics, another state/territory athletics body affiliated with Australian Athletics, or an overseas federation affiliated with World Athletics.
- Age Eligibility: Athletes must be at least 10 years old by 31 December, with minimum age requirement applying for specific events; refer to the Technical Regulations for full eligibility details. Under 15, Under 16, Under 17, Under 18, Under 20 and Open age groups will determined by the age of the athlete as at 31 December of the year following the competition. For example, if an athlete is 15 years old on 31 December of the year of competition, they will be competing in the Under 17 age group. This ensures that under age athletes are using the competition specifications relevant to the event that they will be eligible to compete in at the Australian Athletics Championships.
Athlete Information
- Check-In Process: All athletes must check in for each event at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time at the designated check-in area.
- Uniform Requirements: Athletes must compete in their club uniform with their current season competition number. A $10 admin fee will apply for lost or replacement bibs.
- Warm-Up Areas:Warm-up will be permitted on the back straight between events; please be mindful of track usage and respectful of fellow competitors at all times.
- Facilities: Toilets, change rooms, first aid available onsite
