High Noon Returns - Series Begins 9 August!

Published Wed 15 Jul 2026

After a successful cross country and walks season, it's time to swap the spikes for the track as the High Noon Series returns on Sunday 9 August.

High Noon #1 provides athletes with the perfect opportunity to return to competition, set early-season benchmarks and enjoy the excitement of being back on the track.

Held at the Woden Athletics Track, High Noon is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, offering a fun and competitive environment to kick off the summer season.

Complimentary Entry for All Four High Noon Meets

To celebrate the start of the new season and support members as we transition to our new membership year, Capital Athletics is pleased to offer complimentary entry to all four High Noon meets for all current 2026/2027 registered members.

With our membership period now changing to 13 July – 12 July each year, this season is slightly shorter than usual as we align to the new annual cycle. Complimentary entry to the High Noon Series is one way we're recognising that transition and thanking our members for their ongoing support.

Make Sure You're Registered

To compete at High Noon, athletes must hold a current 2026/2027 Capital Athletics membership.

Memberships are now open through your local affiliated club, with registrations automatically flowing through to Capital Athletics and Athletics Australia.

If you haven't renewed yet, now is the perfect time to do so before entering High Noon #1.
