- Permit Status: Australian Athletics Domestic Permit, performances achieved can be used to qualify for the Australian Athletics Championships.

Event Overview
Capital Athletics is excited to launch the 2025 Winter Series with the first High Noon meet of the season.
High Noon is a familiar format for many. It’s a sharp, well-run, athlete-focused event that offers the chance to stay competitive and maintain form through the off-season. The meet features a full program of events on a synthetic track and suits athletes looking to stay active and race-ready.
Before entering, please read all event information carefully and monitor final meet updates. Any changes to the program or check-in requirements will be shared in the lead-up.
Let’s kick off the Winter Series strong. Bring your spikes and bring your best.
Entry Information
- Entry: Entries for all High Noon meets will be accepted online in advance and in person on the day of competition, subject to availability.
- Entries Close: Thursday, 31 July at 9:00pm
- Entry Fee: Entry fees are $20 for online entry and $35 for on-the-day entry. This is a flat meet fee, regardless of the number of events entered.
- Eligibility: Athletes must be registered with Capital Athletics, another state/territory athletics body affiliated with Australian Athletics, or an overseas federation affiliated with World Athletics.
- Age Eligibility: Athletes must be at least 10 years old by 31 December, with minimum age requirement applying for specific events; refer to the Technical Regulations for full eligibility details.
Athlete Information
- Check-In Process: All athletes must check in for each event at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time at the designated check-in area.
- Uniform Requirements: Athletes must compete in their club uniform with their current season competition number. A $10 admin fee will apply for lost or replacement bibs.
- Warm-Up Areas: Warm-up will be permitted on the back straight between events; please be mindful of track usage and respectful of fellow competitors at all times.
- Facilities: Toilets, change rooms, first aid available onsite
- Parking & Access: Parking for the AIS Track and Field Centre is available in the car park adjacent to the facility, located at the end of Battye Street in front of Canberra Stadium. The venue is fully accessible, with appropriate seating, restrooms, and pathways for all attendees.
